Southern Directional Drilling, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business specializing in Horizontal Directional Drilling/Boring. After working for over a decade in the Directional Drilling field, we decided to start our own company in October 2009. Our family was born and raised in Central Florida and we are proud to serve the area we call home.

We are a licensed (Certified Underground Utility and Excavation Contractor #CUC1224180) and insured contractor in the state of Florida. Our company has contracted with some of the largest power and telecommunications companies in the state, including extensive work for Florida Power & Light, AT&T, various cable providers, and countless municipalities for the installation or upgrading of utility infrastructure. Southern has installed pipe and conduit for power, fiber optics, potable water, stormwater, sewer, natural gas, and even runway lighting at various airports around the state. Chances are, if you live in Central Florida, we've installed something you use every day.

Although we are a small company, we pride ourselves on being knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to our line of work. We take great care to ensure that existing utility lines are not damaged, job sites are disturbed as little as possible, and installations are done correctly the first time. We have performed jobs both big and small, from bores of 1/2" diameter pipe under residential driveways to thousands of feet of 8" diameter pipe for new water main systems.
